The college accepts XAT, MAH CET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, ATMA for MMS programme. The admissions to the MMS programme are governed by the selection procedure as described in the “Information Brochure – Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra State, Mumbai – MAH-MBA/MMS” which is issued every year by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra. The students who are allotted MET Institute of Management are required to produce these certificates in Original and 3 sets of Photocopies duly attested and two passport-size photographs. The eligibility criteria for MMS part-time programme is given below:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any faculty from any University recognised by AICTE.
The candidate should have acquired minimum of two years of work experience, at a supervisory / executive level, after graduation, the experience is counted from the day subsequent to the date printed on the marksheet of the degree examination passed.

Steps to apply at Met college are:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the college.
Step 2: Proceed to pay Rs. 2300.00 (NON REFUNDABLE) to receive the e-Prospectus and start with online application for the programme.
Step 3: After successful payment, besides the e-prospectus, candidates will receive a link, login ID and Password via Email and SMS.
Step 4: Follow the link provided; using the login credentials please start filling your Online Application Form. Please re-verify the details before finishing and submitting the form.
Step 5: Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of the documents as directed.
