IIITs are meant for Computer studies. So studying computer Science from a IIIT is much appreciated. Regarding IIIT Bhubaneswar, its a college of national importance. It is a new college but it is gaining its popularity each passing year. Getting a CSE degree from a IIIT is good enough. One thing to note down is that it has a small but well maintained campus located far from the Bhubaneswar city. So if one is planning to go to a fancy engineering college with huge campus and lots of facilities then certainly this college is not meant for you. IIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech programme has 60 seats available in each of the CSE, IT, CE, EEE, and ETE branches. Out of the total, 30 seats are for students from across India, and 30 are for Odisha state students.
