Reserved category (SC/ST) candidates are given a concession of 10% marks that is they can apply for VITEEE 2022 registration with 50% marks also.

Go for VIT CS. Life at VIT is quite easy with respect to PICTs. Almost all the companies visit both the campuses, but being from Electronics background you won't be finding many core companies visiting both the campuses. So choose CS. In India engineering becomes easy if you are from CS background.

Since I am studying mechanical in COEP, I won't able to help you with the names of the company who have placed civil students, but this year there has been some growth in placements for civil engineers. Have a look at this years placement Statistics of COEP.
