Hello Prajwal, you have indicated the percentage that you have obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the state of Maharashtra for admission to different engineering colleges in the state. However the thing that matters is the percentile and not the percentage. ranking in the merit is nowadays based on percentile and not the percentage that a student scores in the examination. I am sure you would have been informed about your percentile and ranking by the exam conducting authority. Hello Anand,
Economically weaker section or EWS is a type of category that has been granted by the government of India a 10% quota in admissions to different engineering colleges. however this is restricted only to getting admission and it has nothing to do with the fees charged from the student who belongs to this category. student will have to pay the full fees that is been charged by this college for it students of engineering. To help you I am attaching a link that can give you all the required information about the fees charged by this college.
