There are 2 ways to join Indian Army after graduation. Combined Defense Services CDS conducted by UPSC. Through CDS Successive candidates get Permanent Commissioning and are trained at IMA, Dehradun.
2. Short Service Commission SSC conducted by Services Selection Board (SSB)
Selection for short service commission is through the Services Selection Board (SSB) and there is no written exam for this entry as on date. The candidates are shortlisted for SSB interview based on the basis of cut off percentage applied on marks obtained by the candidates up to 6th Semester. Dear Gagandeep, expected cutoff for SNAP would be around 97.5 percentile and for IM would be around 95 percentile though it depends upon the number of students applying for the college.
