Minimum eligibility to apply for PG courses at Symbiosis International is at least 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university or equivalent.
There is a provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST category students.
For course specific eligibility, refer to the university prospectus.

As long as you have a good liking towards learning new technologies there is no harm in opting for SITM. If you wish to pursue career in pure finance I would advice you against joining SITM. A lot of CA students have been our alumnus but chose to stick with ICT domain in spite of having a chance to clear CA.

The decision to join Symbiosis is one of the good decision which you took. The procedure to get admission is as follows. First of all, you should get minimum of 70% in your graduation and each and every year, Symbiosis entrance will happen. Write the exam get a good score. The exam is simple. Also, the chances of getting a good score is not too far. Then, after qualifying the entrance attend the counciling of Symbiosis, Bangalore.

The calls are based on SNAP entrance exams as well. You have to score above 90 percentile to get in Symbiosis.

Yes, there have been a lot of mechanical engineers passed out from SITM and have done very well. As long as you are good at grasping and understanding technology, it will not be tough. Plus at the start of the first semester, the institute conducts a bridge course to make students understand the basics of telecom.
