Certain conditions still provide direct admission to Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research, such as:
- Management Quota: Some seats may be reserved under management quota, which can facilitate direct admissions in return for paying higher fees.
- Lateral Entry: In the case of students who have completed a Diploma in engineering, admission to the second year of the B.Tech course may be opened.
- Special Considerations: Exceptionally high academic performance or extracurricular achievements might make the applicant eligible for direct admission.

At AIMS Institute of Management Studies, students are offered two major courses i.e., AEEP + MBA and AEEP + MBA +SAP. Admission to these courses are entrance-based. Students need to meet the basic eligibility i.e., to pass graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university.
