The BBA+MBA program at LPU requires 4 years of study because it combines undergraduate and graduate courses into a quicker pathway, which allows students to graduate earlier without completing basic courses again. The Doon Business School program requires 5 years of study because it follows a standard BBA and MBA timeline, which includes 3 years of BBA and 2 years of MBA study. LPU and DBS both deliver quality education, but their educational paths differ because LPU offers an expedited learning path while DBS maintains a conventional long-term educational track.

Within Lovely Professional University, ECE usually offers focused tracks like VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Communication Systems, and IoT. The curriculum blends theory with labs and projects, which helps in understanding real industry tools. A good part is exposure to industry-linked content and internships. One limitation is that depth depends on personal effort, but overall it supports decent career options in core and tech roles.

The IIT Ropar placements are also very good.

From a student's point of view, the placement record of LPU is quite good, especially for branches like CSE. Every year, a large number of companies visit the campus, including top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra, so opportunities are definitely there. What I've seen is that LPU focuses a lot on placement preparation through aptitude, coding, and soft skills training, which really helps students perform well. The highest packages can go quite high for top performers, while average packages are decent for most students. There are also internship and training opportunities that improve your chan

Yes, with 67.2% in 12th CBSE, you can still get a seat in B.Tech CSE at Lovely Professional University. LPU has flexible eligibility criteria, and students with 60% or above are generally eligible to apply for engineering programs.

If your percentage is below the direct admission cutoff for higher benefits, you can appear for LPUNEST, which helps in both admission confirmation and scholarship opportunities.

LPU gives fair chances to students through multiple pathways, so even average scores do not limit your opportunities.

The university also focuses on skill development, practical learning, and industry exposure, which helps students bui
