The LLM placements at Lovely Professional University (LPU) are considered reasonably good, especially for students who actively participate in internships, moot courts, legal research, and skill-development programs, as many graduates secure roles in law firms, corporate legal departments, compliance teams, litigation chambers, and academic or research-based positions, with average packages generally ranging between ₹3–6 LPA, while top-performing students can receive higher offers depending on specialisation and performance, and overall placement outcomes improve significantly for students who maintain strong academic records and p

Honestly, Robotics & AI at TIET is still pretty new, so placements aren't separate or “guaranteed” yet. Most students sit with CSE/COE/ENC during placements, and that's where the real action is.
Thapar's overall placement scene is solid though — big names like Microsoft, Adobe, Atlassian, DE Shaw, Zomato, Amazon, Flipkart do come in. If you're skilled, you won't be held back just because your branch says AI.

Honestly? Thapar University (LMTSM) at Dera Bassi for MBA is decent, especially if you want the Thapar brand, good faculty, and a structured campus life.
Placements are average to good (mainly marketing, HR, ops), not IIM-level, but solid for freshers. Worth it if you're aiming for learning + brand value, not just flashy packages.

Yeah, you've got a good chance 👍
With 92.55 percentile, TIET Patiala is definitely possible, especially for branches like ECE, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical.
For CSE/COE, it might be a bit tight in the main rounds, but spot rounds / later counselling can work out.
So don't rule it out—apply and stay in till the end.

To gain admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU) after 12th, students need to first choose their desired undergraduate program, such as B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.Arch. Admissions are generally based on either qualifying exam marks (10+2 results) or entrance tests. Most programs require students to appear for LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test), which evaluates aptitude in relevant subjects, though some courses also accept national-level exam scores like JEE Main, NATA, or CUET in place of LPUNEST. The process begins with online registration on the official LPU portal, payment of the application fee, an
