In that case, the candidate can register for Thapar's MBA Entrance test and make himself/herself eligible to be part of MBA Admissions process 2020. The final selection will be based on their scores in test, Group discussion and Personal Interview. The initial shortlisting of candidates is based on the entrance test scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT/GRE/GMAT/XAT/NMAT. In case the candidate is applying for Thapar's entrance test, he/she will be conditionally shortlisted for the process.

Punjab is among the best law universities after NLUs. They are providing really good placements opportunities for their students and many firms and companies like Trident India (9 lacs+), Wipro (8 lacs+), Pengea 3 ( 5lacs+), OSC Knowledge Center, HDFC Ergo, Legacy Law Mind Merchant, Quislex are coming which are offering average 6 lacs package to the students. The placement cell is really active and it placed 38 out of 40 students of 2014 batch which is 95% of those students who applied for the placements. One must have completed his 1st year without any backlog/reappear. *One should have the minimum percentage required in eligibility qualification of current year (in which student is seeking migration). *Student has to submit Migration certificate and Character certificate from head of present institute / university from which he/she is migrating. *Mapping of transcripts is done and for this one has to pay mapping charges. If this goes well and there are no issues in mapping, one can join the university. *After joining he is supposed to spend 2 or more years in university.

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
