For B.Sc. Economics (Hons.), Lovely Professional University is a decent option. The course is well-structured, faculty explains concepts clearly, and you get good exposure through projects, seminars, and internships. Placements are average but supportive-some students land roles in analytics, finance, research, or go for higher studies. If you actively build skills and internships, LPU gives you the platform to do well.

In terms of Academics, Chemical Engineering at LPU covers the usual core subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, reaction engineering, and process control. The curriculum follows the standard engineering structure. Learning quality depends a lot on how seriously you take labs, projects, and internships.
Talking about the Lab&Infrastructure, there are dedicated chemical engineering labs and pilot-scale equipment for practical exposure. Facilities are decent for a private university, but hands-on learning depends on student involvement.
Lastly about the Placements, Core chemical engineer

Studies
The CSE curriculum is fairly industry-aligned (DSA, DBMS, OS, CN, AI/ML basics, etc.). Labs and coding platforms are available, but learning depends a lot on self-effort. Because the intake is large, you need to stay proactive, join coding clubs, participate in hackathons, and work on projects. Faculty quality varies by section, but resources are there if you use them.
Placements
Placements do happen regularly. Mass recruiters and IT service companies visit in good numbers, and some product-based or higher-paying roles are also offered.
Students with:
Strong DSA and problem-solving skills
Good projects/internships
Decent CGPA
