Hi Tanuj, Design Engineering is not the same as machine design. The former is a more persuasive domain where the design of systems, processes, and parts are done in diverse fields, whereas the latter is more specific and niche into mechanical machine components. BITS Pilani offers only M.E in Design Engineering as a regular higher degree course. However, you can take certain electives of Machine Design if you want. Yes, Taxila offers a dual specialization course, so along with finance you would also get an opportunity to choose another elective also.
