You should check with admission authorities if you will be allowed lateral entry in the 2nd-year to a different college. You should also maintain a good academic record so that they cannot question your motives to transfer to another institute. Yes, having more than 50% during graduation and appearing for CAT makes you eligible for Taxila. Apart from these two parameters, you would also be evaluated on the basis of interview and case analysis.

Yes, it would be definitely a good choice, as the features provided by this university are in comparable, features like App based education and Live Interactive lectures are unique and in India offered by them.
These features are new and offered by International universities like Devry, Pheonix and Capella.

Fee structure differs from college to college. Also, it differs according to your caste. Fee is different for Open, Obc, SC/ST. For government colleges, Fees is between 30-40k to 1 lakh or above for open. For private engineering colleges, it differs. In Maharashtra, the fee to be taken by the college is decided by Shikshan Shulk Samiti which as per college's Infrastructure and Facilities. In private colleges, fees can vary from 70k to 1.5 or 2 lakh (as per college). Normal fees for a private college at an average is 80k-1 lakh for open category. It certainly is, not the best one though. A lot depends on you as the placement here for civil guys are not something you would dream for as of now. The highest package went to 9 lakhs this year which is expected to rise in the upcoming years. In your next 4 years you might get a better package too.
