Nehru Arts and Science College offers two specialisations under its BA programme, BA in English Language Literature and BA in Criminology. According to unofficial sources, Nehru Arts and Science College is one of the few 57 colleges offering a course in Criminology all over India. Admissions to BA at Nehru Arts and Science College are made based on merit. Any candidate who has completed the HSC (Class 12) and obtained an HSC certificate is eligible to apply for BA at Nehru Arts and Science College. Applicants are ranked based on their merit in Class 12. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for a One-to-One meeting/interview with the Principal/HOD/Dean of the college.
