Yes, you are eligible for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for BSc at SMC Chennai is that the candidate should be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised university. If the qualifying exam board is other than that of the Tamil Nadu HSE, CBSE and ICSC, you then need to obtain an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.

As you mentioned that you're weak in coding that doesn't mean you can't strengthen your skills on it, all you have to do is working hard for it . Many of the students doesn't know anything about coding culture but once they get familiar to it they starts developing their skills on it. If you are getting opportunities to get a better option definitely you should go but if you're interested about pursuing your career in ECE you should definitely go with it as it has a vast exposure to the tech field.

The affiliated colleges of Bharathiar University accepts the scores of Class 12 or equivalent examination to prepare the merit list for admission. The University does not conduct any entrance examination nor accepts the scores of any entrance test to offer admission to the BCom programme.
