Narayanaguru College of Engineering (NCE) has a number of scholarships. BC/MBC and the SC/ST community students are also entitled to apply to state government scholarships with income criterion of below 1,000,000-2,000,000 annually to be partially covered with tuition fees. The 2nd type of scholarship is merit-based-The minimum amount of scholarship that NCE provides to the students is 100% scholarships to those who exhibit academic excellence, or those with an excellent extracurricular profile, or students who have performed well in any national/state level examination, and students who are topper in tests conducted in the campuses.

No, aspirants looking forward to pursue BDes at NIFT, Chennai cannot get enrollment without appearing for the entrance exam. The selection criteria for the BDes course at NIFT Chennai is entrance-based. Students are shortlisted based on the scores obtained in The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) exam. Moreover, they must fulfil the preset eligibility criteria and present the relevant documents supporting them. Additionally, the exam is conducted once every year and is further segregated into two parts:
- Written Exams - It comprise GAT and CAT. The GAT paper is mandatory for all programmes, while only BDes
