Aspirants have to fill out the application form online to applu at Annamalai University DDE. Candidates applying for admission have to submit the below documents:
- Degree/ provisional certificate (Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12)
- Transfer Certificate
- Community Certificate for BC/ OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ SC/ ST
- Aadhaar Card
- Recent passport-size photograph-3
- Admission fees (Refer prospectus)

Candidates have pay to pay the application fee to apply for a course at Annamalai University DDE. Aspirants can pay the fee via any of the online payment modes. Below is the course-wise application fee:

Candidates who get admission in Annamalai University Distance Education programmes have to confirm their seat by the course fee. Aspirants also get a confirmation of admission slip with enrolment number. Aspirants can download the slip from the website to check the enrolment number. The first three digits of the enrolment numbers represents the programme code, fourth and fifth digits represents the years of admission.

It is always advised to candidates to keep the track of admission deadline. However, in case they miss the deadline, they can reach out to the admission office of the Annamalai University DDE. Usually, the university gives a good amount of time to aspirants to apply for admission. In case no other option is possible, aspirants can apply in the next session. The university conucts admission in two sessions-January and July.

Annamalai University DDE has not specified any age limit to apply for a course. However, aspirants do need to fulfill the qualification requirements to apply for admission. The basic qualification required for UG courses is Class 12 and graduation for PG programmes.
