Eligibility criteria for Shastra university includes 12th grade with a minimum of 45% aggregate and Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. You must also not have completed 20 years of age as of August 1, 2025.
The admission is based on merit based in two ways. 70% of seats are filled based on a combination JEE Mains and +2 marks.The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks is 25% and 75%, respectively .And 30% of seats are filled based on the marks obtained in class 10+2.

From the perspective of the J&K Board, if you qualify the other eligibility requirements, you may apply for admission in TANUVAS (Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University). BVSc will be primarily offered to students from Tamil Nadu; however, candidates from outside Tamil Nadu may be provided opportunities to apply in case of the availability of seats after local admissions. The admission in SASTRA University is based upon two streams: Stream 1: 75% marks of class 12 boards and 25% marks of JEE Mains is considered for ranking. 70% of the seats get filled with this stream. As your percentile I'm JEE Mains is less, your rank will get increased. Must have passed 12th from recognised State Board / Central Board or any other Board accepted by SASTRA as equivalent to 10+2, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in all subjects.
