Bannari Amman Institute of Technology admissions to BTech or BE course is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who have passed HSc or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Backward Class/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST) must apply for TNEA. Candidates are allotted seat in the course via TNEA Counselling and seat allotment.

As per the official website, aspirants need to complete their Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Backward Class/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST) for BTech/ BE admission. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 have a good chance of getting a seat in the institute.

Yes, candidates do not require JEE score to get admission in BE or BTech course of BAIT Coimbatore. Aspirants are offered admission in BE based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants fulfiling the eligibility criteria can apply for TNEA Counselling for seat allotment.
