With a 16.8% acceptance rate, the University of Hertfordshire is very hard to get into and follows a difficult selection criteria during admissions. This does not mean the university accepts all the students applying for different programs.
The selection is based on the factors given below -
- Academic performance
- English language requirements
- References
Some of the programs at Hertfordshire even demand an experience of 4-5 years. In addition, students with average performance can showcase their relevant experience or extracurricular activities participation to increase their selection probability.

According to the 'University Ranking' category of QS 2025, Swansea University ranks #298, improving from its previous ranking of #307 in 2024. Swansea University also ranks #251 in THE 'University Ranking' category 2024. As compared to last year, Swansea University witnessed a stable trend in its THE (Times Higher Education) ranking which stood at #251 in 2023. Furthermore, Swansea University ranks #39 in The Complete University Guide 'University Ranking' category in 2025.

According to the 'University Ranking' category of QS 2025, Swansea University ranks #298, improving from its previous ranking of #307 in 2024. Swansea University also ranks #251 in THE 'University Ranking' category 2024. As compared to last year, Swansea University witnessed a stable trend in its THE (Times Higher Education) ranking which stood at #251 in 2023.

In terms of acceptance rate, the University of Birmingham is more selective. It has an acceptance rate of around 13%. Whereas, Queen's University Belfast acceptance rate is around 31%. According to The Guardian rankings 2025, QUB ranks at #43 and the University of Birmingham ranks at #36. Choosing to study at either of these universities would depend on students' choice eventually.

QUB is one of the UK's 24 leading research-intensive universities. It is a member of Russell Group. It is ranked #13 in UK for research intensity as per The Complete University Guide 2025. Also, in REF 2021, 99% of the university's research environment was assessed as world-leading or internationally excellent. Also, the university is ranked 9in the UK for Graduate Prospects – Outcomes (Complete University Guide 2025). QUB is ranked 10 in the UK for Graduate Prospects as per Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2024. The university has more than 4,000 international students and is ranked 6th in the world for international outlook

A Tier 4 Visa allows students to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week and full-time during vacations. The visa would allow students to work 10 hours per week during the term time and full-time during the vacations. Students can work as student ambassador, tour guide, and various hospitality roles.

The campus size of Queen's University Belfast is over 100 acres. There are over 200 clubs and societies at the university which provide activities from surfing, gaming, crafting to charity work. Furthermore, the campus provides world-class indoor and outdoor facilities for fitness and sports. The university has teams in Rugby, Soccer, Basketball, and Hockey for both men and women.

The duration of Queen's University Belfast MSc in Finance course is 1 year. Also, note that, according to Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, QUB is ranked third in the UK for Graduate Prospects in Finance. Graduate of this course have secured roles in the companies like Deloitte, PwC, Morgan Stanley, Citi, etc. A minimum 55% in a 2.2 Honors degree is required. A bachelor's degree with a 53% - 55% is accepted from Indian applicants.

Yes, Queen's Business School PG-Taught international applicants are eligible for the scholarships of £6,000. To qualify, the applicants must be classified as an international student. No applications are necessary for this. Notification of their scholarship award shall be issued to eligible students shortly after they have received their offer at place at the university.
