A CAS is an unique UKVI reference number which confirms that Teesside University will be the applicants Student Visa Sponsor for the duration of the studies. After the successful completion of the university checks, the applicants’ CAS will usually be issued within 5 working days, but may take longer during peak periods.
- A CAS statement with the CAS number will be sent to the applicants via email
- Upon the receipt of the CAS number, the applicants can then submit Student Visa application

Teesside University entry requirements vary as per the undergraduate and graduate courses. The entry requirements for Indian students are given below:
Undergraduate Students
- The applicants are required to have Indian standard Class 12 with minimum 65% from all state boards OR
- Diploma from the State Board of Technical Education with minimum 60% (including MEng) OR
- The holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 27 points or more will be considered for direct admission to bachelor’s degree courses
Postgraduate Students
The applicants are required to have at least 55% or CGPA of 5.8 / 10 from a recognised university 50% or C
