Yes, international students are permitted to work in the University of South Wales if they possess a Tier 4/Student visa. Students must keep in mind that they can work most kind of jobs except for the ones mentioned below:
- self-employed;
- employed as a professional sportsperson including as a sports coach;
- employed as an entertainer;
- take a permanent full-time job; and
- work as a doctor or dentist in training, unless on the foundation program.

Yes an average Indian student can join Birkbeck University of London and Birkbeck considers applications from students without typical qualifications and encourages applications from students with diverse backgrounds. For UG degrees applicants from India can be considered for direct entry if they meet the minimum entry requirements which range between 60 and 80% for state board entry requirements and additionally applicants with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-levels will be considered for direct admission to UG degree programs.
