University of Florida accepts international applications either through the Common Application. Applicants must ensure that they submit any one application as two applications might result in cancellation of submission. Uni of Florida does not give preference to any of the two admission applications, thus, students can thoroughly go through the steps for application materials required and then decide on submitting any one amidst Coalition/Common Application for University of Florida admissions at the undergraduate level.

Yes, the University of Florida permits international students to work while studying in the university if they hold an F-1 or J-1 student visa. Candidates are permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week while classes are in session. Speaking as a Clevelander, I think you would probably have the most opportunity at either Cleveland State University or the University of Bridgeport.  Cleveland University is bigger than Bridgeport but both are decent-sized cities. For a long time, CSU was known as a commuter school, but in recent years they've been building more campus housing as well as apartments that are adjacent to campus. CSU is also a short walk from the theater district and has good athletic facilities including a superb swimming pool. We have compared both the universities in the table below in terms of ranking and tuition fees:

According to student reviews who attended CSU, the blocks that contain CSU (Cleveland State University) are very safe during the day. The crowd changes at night. Cleveland State University has around 17,260 students, but only enough dorms for 1,200 and roughly 2,000 parking spaces. The rest come in using RTA (Regional Transit Authority).
