There are loys of thing to do on weekends as a student at Northern Illinois University. Some of them are mentioned below:
- Get a job. I had a great job at The Hillside by the Egyptian Theatre. Also at 3 churches ($) every Sunday.
- Walk the campus and find new things.
- Pick up racquetball games at the Rec Center.
- Work out and stay healthy
- Day trips to nearby places: Rockford, Geneva, Kane County, etc.
- Start a club to play card/board games. Learn how to play bridge and chess.

University of Houston and UHCL are universities under the same system along with the same Chancellor but otherwise they are both different. University of Houston has a large campus located in south of Central Houston whereas the campus of UHCL is smaller and has its branch campuses which offers upper level and graduate level students on campus. Other aspects such as scholarships, enrollment, admissions and acceptance rate of both universities is also different.
