Yes, international students taking admission to Kent State University can submit an IELTS score as an evidence of English language proficiency test. Graduate programs at Kent State University set their English requirements. So, it is advised to refer to the respective course pages to know the exact scores. As a minimum requirement, Kent State University needs a TOEFL score of 71 on iBT / IELTS score of 6.0 / PTE score of 48 (exception to individual graduate programs).

• English proficiency exam scores: USF accepts all major English language exam scores from international student, ie; TOEFL, IELTS and Duolingo;
• Fall senior grades: If the candidate is applying Early Decision or Early Action and their application is deferred to Regular Decision, they will be required to submit their grades from their fall semester. If they’re applying Regular Decision, their fall senior grades aren’t required, but they are highly recommended;
• Extracurricular activities: Candidates must describe what they do outside of academics and how they're involved in their community;
• Academic requirements:
• English - 4 years
• Mathematics - 3 years
  • Engineering applicants are required to have completed precalculus
• Social Sciences: 3 years
• Lab Sciences: 2 years
  • Nursing applicants are required to have completed chemistry prior to applying for admission.
  • Biology or Physics (Only one of these courses needs to be completed. It will not increase your chances of being admitted if you have completed both.)
• Foreign Language: 2 years

International candidates must fulfil all the following requirements: University of Maryland Undergraduate Admissions

• You should have official grades and a certificate of completion from a national high school test if you completed secondary school outside the United States (such as the GCSE or Baccalaureate).

University of Maryland Postgraduate Admissions

• B average or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in a curriculum leading to the award of a bachelor's degree from a regionally approved college or university or an identical degree and status from a similar international institution is required for routine entry to the Graduate School. 
• Applicants should satisfy the Graduate School's minimum standards and departmental and/or program-specific requirements that could surpass the minimum.

University of Maryland Doctorate Admissions

• If applicable, applicants must demonstrate successful fulfilment of undergraduate prerequisites for graduate research in the chosen area.
