Indian Student Association at ASU is a non-profit organization for all Indian students. The objectives of this association is to promote service and leadership opportunities. This association aims to help new students with the transition to the USA and provide support for educational and social issues that students may face at the university.

There are more than 1,000 student organizations and clubs at ASU University. A few of the categories of these organizations are academic, cultural / ethnic, political, international, special awareness, technology, etc. There is also an Indian Student Association at the university. A few other associations and organizations for international students at the university are:

Yes, living as part of RISD accommodation is mandatory for all first & second-year students, unless a student qualifies for a residency waiver. After the first two years, the students have the flexibility of living off-campus if they wish to.
However, it must be noted that if a student signs a housing & dining license for the 3rd or 4th year, then they have to stay as part of on-campus facilities, as there's no option to move in the middle of an academic year.

Yes, Arizona State University have many traditions. These include ASU Welcome, Homecoming Parade, Lantern Walk, Territorial Walk, Devils in Disguise, etc. The Lantern Walk is the university's century old-tradition when the Sun Devils carry the lanterns to the mountain top on the night before homecoming. This is done to hear speakers and enjoy spirit, community, and Sun Devil pride.

ASU provides a safe, healthy, and secure environment. Students can also contact the university's emergency services such as ASU Police in emergency. Also, students can download the LiveSafe App on their devices. The university's Police Department is located on the Tempe campus, with sub-stations at other campuses. This department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
