The University previously used to have seven campuses: of which five were in Manchester, namely: Didsbury, Elizabeth Gaskell, Hollings, Aytoun & All Saints & two in Cheshire: Alsager & Crewe.

However, the institute later shut down operations at six of the seven locations, with all university operations moving to the main city centre campus, located on Crewe Green Road, Greater Manchester, UK.

The Manchester Metropolitan University & Aston University are both major higher educational institutions in the UK, & attract thousands of international students every year, thanks to their excellent academic standards & overall learning environment.

However, the Manchester Metropolitan University's acceptance rate of 80% is much better than Aston University's (50%) suggesting Aston is relatively more selective at granting admissions to students.
