Getting into NOVA is easy because of its open-door admission policy. Any adult seeking to enrol, regardless of age, may be admitted if he or she has achieved one of the following: Has earned a general education diploma, completed high school, or is at least 18 years old. Students can apply online very easily, and the application process is free. Some programs have specific requirements or limited enrollment, so this may impact admission chances. One must apply minimum of 30 days before the semester starts to get an opportunity to be processed and enrolled in relevant courses.

Students can easily find part-time jobs while studying at Wagner College. Students maintaining an F-1 visa are eligible to work on campus and do not require any other authorization.
