At a very disappointing score in JEE Mains percentile, it is best to ready oneself to target those colleges in Uttar Pradesh which either offer direct admissions, or whose admission process is controlled by their self-counseling system (as in most colleges), in which admission will be secured on the basis of 12 th board marks or a college specific entrance test. Among the alternatives with rather lesser fees and wider admission standards one may mention G.L.
