If you're opting for Computer Science, MNNIT Allahabad is a better choice because of it's placements and amazing senior junior interaction and in other measures too NIT Allahabad is far better than NIT Surat. Best of luck.

Their website claims that they are a 15-year old institution. This needs to be checked which campus is the one with that past. The one at Noida or Gurgaon is actually assisted or patroned by the Channel they have. I seriously doubt the quality. More than this the academy is not approved as an Affiliated Institution, they have three Universities mentioned in their profile and that suggests that have the study centres of the Distance Learning of the mentioned GJU Hisar, Himalayan and Subharti. Make a detailed check. Refer to the review of Arena as well because they are also totally Private Academy. Better you do from a recognised univers

In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech ME. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis o

Hi Muthu,
One thing to remember is that for interviews in UG courses one must be well updated with the current affairs. Read up on the ongoing issues and the issues that have been of national importance in the past one year, read up on the Karnataka elections, US's Nuclear agreement and it's complications, the Paris Agreement, read up on UDHR. Finally, the most important thing out of all is that you must be calm, poised, VERY CONFIDENT and must know why do you choose this college over the others. Confidence is the key to anything, even if you don't know the answer to a question. All the best.

IET-Lucknow is one of the most premium institutes for B.Tech. It is difficult to get admission in mechanical engineering in IET but you can go for other government colleges check the last year's cut-off, the opening and closing rank of the colleges and I think you will get admission in a government college.
Best of luck.

I would like to tell you that IET is one of the most reputed colleges for engineering in UPTU. I don't think with this rank you would be able to get admission in IET. You can check the last year's cut-off also, but yes, you can get admission in other government colleges, all you have to do is check the last year's cut-off and look for the best colleges according to your rank.

Dear Pawan,
For Jaypee Institute of Information Technology-Noida, you need to have more than 60% aggregate in PCM. However, the more you score, better will be the chances. In addition to your class 12th marks, you need to also submit your JEE Mains score.
