To get a seat in BSc Hons at BHU, students have to appear for the CUET UG exam. The university does the seat allotment process through CAP-UG. Candidates can register for counselling on the official website. Further, candidates can get their documents verified and pay some fee to secure their seats.

Yes, Banaras Hindu University offers a wide range of merit-based, need-based, and merit-cum-means based scholarships. Most of these scholarships consider students' academic records. The amount and eligibility of BHU scholarships depend on the department or institute offering them. For example, the Institute of Science, BHU offers various scholarships ranging from worth INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 per year. There are dedicated scholarships for women and SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Shiv Nadar University TNEA cutoff 2025 ranged from 513 to 9832 in the last round for the General AI category. The cutoff was out for different categories and engineering courses.

BHU MBA average package for the Batch of 2026 is INR 10.1 LPA. The median and the highest salary packages stood at INR 9.2 LPA and INR 19.8 LPA, respectively. The Institute of Management Studies BHU hosted a total of 55 recruiters and 116 students of MBA & MBA IB Batch of 2026 were placed.

CAT is compulsory to take admission in MBA and MBA IB courses offered by the Institute of Management Studies of BHU (formerly known as FMS BHU). Admission to these courses is based on candidates' performance in CAT, GD-PI and past academic records.

However, candidates seeking admission to the MBA courses offered by other departments of BHU are not required to take CAT. Admission to these MBA courses is through CUET PG. These courses include MBA in Food & Agribusiness Management, MBA in Financial Management, MBA in Foreign Trade, and MBA Risk & Insurance.
