Taught in the English language, the MBBS programme at Tashkent Medical University is a 6-year course with 5 years of academic study and practical training. This is then followed by a 1-year compulsory internship at this university. 

The MBBS curriculum consists of theoretical classes, laboratory practicals, and clinical rotations in affiliated hospitals to ensure comprehensive medical education.

As an international student, many eligibility requirements are required to be met, including a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, a minimum age threshold of 17 years, and more. Mentioned below are the requirements for the same: 

• Notarized Certificate of Secondary Education
• Notarized Certificate copy attested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development
• Notary attested copy of birth certificate
• Medical certificate with all important lab test results, including AIDS test
• Copy of national passport with a minimum validity of 9 months
• 12 recent passport-sized photographs on matt paper only

Starting from 2025, as part of the Tashkent Medical Academy application process, international students are required to go through an interview. This interview is conducted to assess the candidature and fit of the applicant to the university. 

It also assesses the English proficiency level of the candidate. However, students should not feel worried as the university professors are patient and warm with candidates during the interview. 

It is an important step before an admission letter is issued to the student. 

The Tashkent MBBS application can be made via the TMA application portal by submitting all the required application documents and filling out the entire application form. The whole admission process in mentioned below: 

• Step 1: Fill up the MBBS admission form and submit the required documents on the Tashkent Medical Academy official portal
• Step 2: Wait for the offer letter to arrive
• Step 3: Submit the application form for a student visa along with your original passport & other supporting documents
• Step 4: Pay the tuition fee or apply for an education loan if required

International students are not allowed to follow this approach for Tashkent Medical Academy admissions. The tourist visa is only valid for tourism, not for enrolling at this institution.
