For admission into MBBS in Private colleges in OBC category, you need at least a NEET score of 350. Below this score, it is less predictable.

If you look at NEET cutoff trends, you may witness an exponential rise. Coming to score for government medical colleges you need 550+ whereas, for private you need 450+ to be in the safer side.

With your SC rank 3886, you won't get any good branch in Jadavpur University, but you will get any branch in other government engineering college like KALYANI government engineering college and Jalpaiguri government engineering college.

I can't tell about other government engineering colleges but I can give information about Jalpaiguri government engineering college. Approximately 10-12seats remain vacant in each and every stream, and sometimes as high as 16 seats may remain vacant. As usual CSE gets filled first so only higher ranker will get chance, more over many change their streams to CSE in JGEC.

Sorry to say, but apart from rank, there's one more criteria to join Jadavpur University. You have to pass 10+2 examination with 60% in PCM and have a Diploma certificate. It would be better, if you research about it a bit, because it's a recently added criteria.
