There's hardly any seat in CSE in Jadavpur. May be only top rankers will get a chance.
Apart from rank, there's one more criteria to join Jadavpur University. You have to pass 10+2 examination with 60% in PCM, all those who joined Diploma after class 10 are ineligible. In fact only those who have Diploma certificate in engineering are allowed, those who appeared JELET after completing B.Sc. are ineligible.

There's hardly any seat in CSE, might be only rank1-2 will get admission. Apart from rank, there's one more criteria to join Jadavpur University. You have to pass 10+2 examination with 60% in PCM, all those who joined Diploma after class 10 are ineligible. No, with 38 marks, your rank won't be around 1.5 k -1.6k, so you don't have chance to get admission in ECE in Jadavpur University.

If I'm not wrong, then there's no specific seat for OBC. You have to apply as general category and hence to get CSE your rank must be less than 90.

WBJEE rank is not required to get admission in IIEST Shibpur. It is considered in case of Jadavpur University.
