Yes, Bhimrao Ambedkar, a former social reformer & the Chief Justice of India, is an notable alumni of the Columbia University alumni network.
He is known for his contribution to the promotion of social justice & civil rights in India, fighting for the rights of the Dalits who were often discriminated by the society.
Bhimrao, attained a PhD in Economics from Columbia University in 1927, & an honorary degree in 1952.

Justin Trudeau, pursued an degree in Education from UBC, having previously pursued a UG degree in English Literature from McGill.
Trudeau led the Liberal Party between 2013 & 2025, while also being a member of Parliament for Papineau from 2008 to 2025.
