Yes, you can pursue BCA being a commerce student. You're eligible for admission into BCA in almost every other college. There are only a few colleges which provides admission to Science stream students only, but majority of colleges including top tier colleges accepts commerce stream students too for BCA course. You should consider checking the website of the college for the eligibility criteria before seeking admission into that college. As in BCA the eligibility criteria is different for every college. You have to select the subject for NET exam based on the subject. You have studied in your PG degree, so you are eligible to take only commerce subject.

No, it will not work. Most of the Science disciple course demands PCM or PCB from class 11th onwards.

Yes, a commerce student can take admissions at NIFT as well. For Bachelors programs, you should have an education of 10+2 equivalent, And for Masters Programs, you should have a Under-Graduate (UG) degree. Now just to give you an idea about the NIFT entrance examinations (overall):
There are five components in the exams: GAT (General Ability Test), CAT (Creative Ability Test), Situation Test, Group-Discussions & Personal Interview
The structure and weightage of the questions varies for Bachelors & Masters programmes.
