The application fee for NICC exam is INR 3,000. Candidates can pay the application fee online. NICC Application process cannot be completed without payment of the fee.

Yes, candidates can take admission in PG courses like IMCP Photography & Cinematography, International Masters Combination Program in Interior Design, IMCP Communication Design etc. The candidate can pick their programme of study at the time of filling out the application form.

Note that the NICC question paper will be different for UG and PG courses. To be considered for admission, the candidate needs to qualify in their paper.

The registration process has started for the application process for NICC 2026. No last date has been given for submission of the application form. Candidates can visit the official website for more information.

The candidate needs to ensure that meet the eligibility criteria before they apply for the exam. It is because incomplete and incorrectly filled applications will be rejected.

WWI entrance exam 2026 for B.Des in Visual Communication Design programme will be conducted on December 12, 2025. Applications are open for B.Des and M.Des programmes. Exam will be administered in a computer-based mode.

One must present a Portfolio to the panel during DEED Personal Interview. Portfolio should include any creative work done by you such as drawings, paintings, photographs, films/ videos, craftwork, projects, models, etc.

Also, stay prepared for questions related to your academic background and subjects studied.

To be considered for admission to the BDes program, the candidate’s age should not exceed 22 years as of 31st July in the year of application. In case of the MDes program, the applicants should be more than 20 years of age and less than or equal to 25 years of age as of 31st July of the year of applying. Candidates will be considered for admission to the design courses on the basis of DEED 2025 scores.

Note that if the candidate doesn't meet the prescribed eligibility, his or her candidature could be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.

Candidates will be given admission in BDes and MDes courses on the basis of:

  1. DEED 2025 entrance exam
  2. Shortlisted candidates have to next appear in a personal interview, which comprises a Portfolio Review round.

The final merit list will be prepared by considering both the factors.
