Sketching, writing, creative aptitude, awareness of design industry and design practices etc. Are essential skills for round 1 written exams. Sketching is widely practiced and it makes a compelling case if you sketch meaningfully, than accurately. Writing is an important but underestimated skill. You can easily switch to design as an option for your career, depending on your interest in the design field, you may wanna have a look at courses offered in design school at IILM University Gurugram as they offer great courses with the added advantage of Liberal Education. So, you can apply for the process for your admission there.

It is better to complete your 2nd PUC before pursuing the fashion design courses. Because you can get better options in Fashion Design courses after the 2nd PUC. Important Design entrance exams like NIFT, UCEED and NID can be attempted after the completion of 2nd PUC. However, on the basis of your class 10th you can also pursue Diploma in fashion design course and can also eligible for dual programme Diploma in fashion design+ B. Des (Fashion) from LPU if interested.
