Computer Science and Engineering Fees

The overall fee of engineering in B.Tech CSE will be 8.1 Lacs and
per semester your fee will be 1 lakh and 10,000 will be a registration fee which you have to pay only at the time of registration. For details, go through the link.

You should have a minimum of 60% marks in PCM.You will not get any scholarship if your score is not too good.So do well and achieve the best.

For CS branch, fee would be not greater than 15 Lakhs for 4 years. Yes, admission depends on 12th percentage as many colleges have the minimum eligibility criteria of 12th marks.

The college has a separate entrance test called the VITEEE for admissions to Engineering branches. The fee depends upon the rank you get in the entrance exam, depending upon the ranks you get to choose the branches as well as the campus that you study in - since there are four branches of VIT. This year, the last date for registration is 28th Feb 2019.

Further the hostel fees depends on the type of room you choose- there are two-bedded, three-bedded , four-bedded and some hostels 6-bedded, the hostel fees includes the mess charges as well and varies somewhere around INR 1 lakh to INR 1.5 lakhs.

Some what you are correct Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology fee for B.Tech CSE for year 2018-19 was Rs 1,55,100/. While for session 2019-20 this will be about Rs 1,69,000/- per semester. The hostel fee is excluding here. While on other side Chandigarh University fee structure is as under:-
Rs 95000/ Per semester
PEC Rs 80000/ Per semester

Hi Vamsi,Fees depends on your college. Generally, for NITs it is around INR. 80,000 per semester, exclusive of the hostel fees that is generally INR. 12,000 per semester. Hope it helps.
