RV University has not released the BTech CSE placement report on its official website yet. Many CSE students of the University have shared their reviews on the Shiskha platform. According to the recent reviews, 80% of the BTech CSE students received placement offers from reputed companies. The the highest and average package offered during the recent RV University placements stood at INR 22 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively.

As on Sep 2025, Optum offered the highest package of INR 18 LPA to BTech CSE students. Earlier, in 2025, highest and median package (NIRF report) offered during BTech placements was 51 LPA and around 25.2 LPA.

Getting a job after CSE is a big dream for many students. But placements follow rules. First of all, students must meet all eligibility. No active backlog is allowed. Most companies ask for a CGPA above 7 or 7.5 to sit in their drive. Few top firms even prefer 8 CGPA and more. If a student is already placed, they cannot sit again. Students should also have no suspensions or fines, and regular in activities like DCPD sessions. Along with CGPA, credit score and attendance are also checked.
The process is simple but strict. First is an online test. Then coding round, followed by technical interview, and finally HR interview. So, having 7.5

CGC University Mohali is well known for its BTech placements. It offers good placements every year for BTech course, especially the CSE branch. IUST has not provided distinct placement statistics to facilitate a comparison between BTech CSE and BTech ECE. Therefore, students are encouraged to visit the official University website for the relevant details. The University has not yet published the placement statistics for 2023. Nevertheless, the NIRF report for 2023 has been released. According to this report, during the 2022 placements at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, 201 BTech students secured placements. The median salary package for BTech graduates was INR 4.8 LPA.

The average package offered to BTech CSE students in 2025 was 18.87 LPA. MTech CSE and CSE Analytics average package recorded during placements 2025 was 7.07 LPA and 8.78 LPA.
