One of the most popular student majors at Assam University is computer Science and engineering. Assam University's BTech placement rates, however, are lower than those of other state and central universities. Nevertheless, compared to other disciplines offered under the BTech programme at Assam University, the CSE discipline in particular is significantly superior.
