As per the analysis of previous years cut-off data, you have good chances of getting CSE specialisation in SRM Chennai (KTR) campus. Because on the basis of analysis expected closing rank for this year is around 9500-10500 for CSE specialisation in SRM Chennai (KTR) campus. In the previous year, the closing rank to get into CSE branch was 10000. I hope this helps!

As per the analysis of previous years cut-off data, you have very less chances for CSE in KTR campus but you have good chances of getting CSE branch in SRM Chennai (Vadapalani and Ramapuram) campus. In the previous year, the most popular branch was CSE and cutoff rank was Rank 10,000 for Chennai Campus. I hope this helps!

Congratulations on scoring 16880 at SRMJEE 21! Both CSE and ECE are good branches and have their own advantages. However, the choice between the two depends on your interests and career goals. According to a source I found, if your rank is more than 10,000, you have very less chances to secure a CSE seat in SRM main campus. As per the previous year sources if you get a rank below 10,000 you are eligible to get a seat in SRM main campus. So, if you are interested in CSE and want to study at SRM main campus, you can opt for ECE at SRM main campus and try to change your branch later. If you are interested in ECE and want to study at SRM R

Private colleges may offer admission to students who have not qualified in EAMCET but they may require you to pay donations as you haven't qualified EAMCET. However, I couldn't find any information about joining CSE group with extra fee if you are not qualified in EAMCET. You can contact the colleges that you are interested in directly for more information about their admission requirements and eligibility criteria.
