The eligibility criteria of M.Sc IT at University of Madras, Institute of Distance Education is given below.
Eligibility: Any Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Business statistics/ Mathematical Physics as Main or Allied subject of study.
So, from above students of English and Psychology background are not eligible for this program.

On the basis of BCA degree, you can not do M.Tech. For M, Tech, You needs to do MCA or M.Sc. (IT/CS) along with a valid score of GATE.

Hello,It entirely depends upon your career aspirations and current interests. Choose MBA in IT if you wish to acquire managerial skills and work at the management level; choose MCA if you have an inclination towards coding and technical topics.

Yes, you can appear for the IIT JAM exam in the final year of your Bachelor's degree or after completing it. For applying in a reputed IIT or NIT for M.Sc. In Information Technology, you need to score well in the exam. This year IIT Kanpur will start the IIT JAM Counselling from April 2020 and aspirants who will qualify the cut-off marks in IIT JAM Exam and will be featured in the merit list can take admission in various M.Sc.
