Hi Laasya,
Many public sector organizations recruit graduates in BCA. They can find jobs in the petroleum sector industries like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Bharat Petroleum, etc. They can also try for jobs in telecom sector industries such as Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). They can even try jobs under various ministries, for this they have to pass certain entrance exams or PSC tests conducted by the government. They are paid with very high salary in public sector, along with certain extra incentives. The initial salary can be upto Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Your profile looks good, but Great Lakes don't consider MAT score for admissions to PGDM program. I would suggest you to give any other entrance exam and apply for admissions.

You have many options to choose for their higher studies I.e. M.Sc in IT. One of those options is to take up advanced studies. They can also choose to go for teaching in universities or other institutes of education. Other option for them is to go for MCA or MBA. Three year Bachelors degree is not accepted by Canadian universities. However, you can apply to PG Diploma courses under SPP. This will also depend on your percentile. Also your gap can be an issue here. You have to check with the colleges directly. Overall band score should be 6.5. Keep alternate country options open.
