BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for job immediately after BCA in Small and Medium size IT companies. Unfortunately Large Indian IT companies and MNCs do not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers role and these companies may hire for junior developer or Application support jobs. If there are no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT grads for Application development and Maintenance jobs.

Placements were always good. M.Tech placements are also good for M.Tech in CAD/CAM, manufacturing, industrial design and automotive in core companies

MCA is a good educational qualification and is treated as second best after B.Tech in CSE by Indian IT companies and has good opportunities for job and growth for well-trained and knowledgeable professionals.
