I am of the opinion that one should complete education in one go unless there are valid personal constraints. By the way, one of two years gap in education does not impact job profile and chances in campus placement provided you have valid reasons for gap in education.

Hello Ramkishor,
After doing B.Sc, you are not eligible to take GATE exam as it is for BE/B.Tech graduates to do M.Tech from IITs. Only with a B.Sc or BCA degree you cannot take GATE exam.
You can do M.Sc and then you can appear for GATE exam. You need to have M.Sc degree if you have done B.Sc, but if you have completed B.Tech or BE degree then you are eligible directly for GATE.

Hi Narendra,
If you are interested in banking sector, go for the exams which are conducted every year. You can join any coaching institute or you can prepare by yourself.
Basic things asked in these exams are about:
1. Aptitude (maths)
2. GK
3. Logical reasoning
4. English
So, you can prepare by yourself. Try to build basic concept especially in maths. You can solve class 9th to 12th maths. Good luck.
