MBA has a broader scope having to fulfill the responsibilities at the managerial levels. If you have the gift of doing well as a team member and leader and manage people well, an MBA might be a better option for you.
There are different ways of admission in MBA. Some institutes prefer CAT/XAT/ MAT scores only for admission to MBA course. And to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT etc student needs to have 50% in graduation. But eligibility criteria varies for various Management Institutes or Universities, they can take different %age in graduation along with CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores.

It is not always that the students who have done BCA/ B.Sc CS/ B.Sc IT only they go for MCA. Even other graduates opt for MCA because of the good career opportunities that are available after completing MCA. So, the syllable starts from the grass-root level keeping in mind all the students.
Now, some institutions offer admission in MCA on basis of entrance tests, some give direct admission on basis of marks in previous qualification.
