There are several factors that candidates can consider while comparing the MCA course of Thapar University with other universities and colleges. The official statistics for Thapar University MCA placements have not been published. Neither of the highest placement figures has been published. However, according to the verified Shiksha reviews of the students and alumni of various academic years, it mentions the different the highest placement packages for MCA graduates. The students from the 2025 batch mentioned the highest placement packages of MCA graduates are INR 44 LPA and INR 22 LPA.

The MCA programme at Thapar University is spread over a period of two years, consisting of four semesters. The students study courses for three semesters at the Institute and do a Software Development Project (SDP) in the fourth semester in some reputed industry. Therefore, the university does provide a project. However, it can be considered as an internship but not as a full-fledged one. 

Bangalore University offers a two-year full-time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course at the postgraduate level. The university also provides lateral entry into this course, allowing eligible candidates to be directly admitted into the six semesters of the MCA program. The PG-level course is offered at the Jnanabharathi Campus of the University. Many affiliated colleges also offer this programme. Admission to the course is further entrance-based.

The latest cutoff for BCA at Mewar University is not officially published. However, admissions are based on CUET-UG or MUEE scores. For reference, previous cutoffs for undergraduate programs ranged between 1300 and 1400 for general category students. It's advisable to check the university's official website or contact the admissions office for the most accurate and updated information.

Check their eligibility criteria—usually 10+2 with Mathematics or Computer Science. Apply through entrance exams like IPU CET or CUET, or based on merit, depending on the college.
