Yes, the majority (55%) of the institute's undergraduate student body is known to live as part of the university maintained housing facilities, while the rest live off-campus.

Based on the acceptance rates of the respective institutes it can be said that Cornell is slightly easier to get into as compared to Stanford.
Though securing admissions to both institutions is not an easy ask, Cornell with an acceptance rate of 7.8% is a bit less selective at picking students than Stanford that has an acceptance rate almost half that of Cornell, 3.9%.
