Cornell University is a privately endowed university located in Ithaca, New York. The total number of students enrolled at Cornell University is 26,000+. Out of which, 16,128 are UG students and 10,665 are PG students. Also, the university welcomes international students and they hailed from 131 countries make up 26% of this university's student body in Fall 2024. More than 6,400 international students enrolled at the university. Out of this, 850+ hailed from India.

According to student reviews, Cornell University has received an overall rating of 4.4. Some of the component rankings are 4.2 for internships, 4.6 for post-study jobs, 4.8 for quality of faculty, 4.4 for value of money. Some of the reviews posted by students on Shiksha are:

Cornell University Master of Architecture (Professional) course is a 3.5 year long course. This course engages global practices through a foundation in making and conceptual thinking. To pursue this course, the applicants are required to have a 4-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline. This programme is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. This is a STEM-based program making international graduates eligible to extend their F-1 Visas for up to 3 years in order to work in the U.S.

Cornell is not known to maintain off-campus accommodation facilities however international students can refer its off-campus housing facility that connects students directly with local landlords, saving their time & reducing the overall risk of fraud.

Yes,  the majority (55%) of the institute's undergraduate student body is known to live as part of the university maintained housing facilities, while the rest live off-campus.

Those who live off-campus, typically look for accommodation in the Collegetown region due to its close vicinity with the campus & great connectivity to the rest of the city.
